"'I think I'm most excited to?' - get into Olympic atmosphere": Anna Hall reveals her zest for Paris as she prepares for the U.S. Olympic Trials

Anna Hall expressed her excitement as she anticipated the thrill she is going to experience competing at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. With less than 50 days to go for this year's Games, Hall is looking forward to contend for her first medal.

Hall is a two-time World Championships medalist. At the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, she secured a bronze medal after bagging a total of 6755 points, finishing behind Nafissatau Thiam and Anouk Vetter.

A few days before the 2023 WAC in Budapest a year later, the 23-year-old suffered a PCL knee injury and a bone bruise during a training session. She nevertheless competed at the Championships and went on to clinch a silver medal with 6720 points, defeating Vetter (6501 points) and settling behind Katarina Johnson-Thompson (6740 points).

Hall remained absent from the sport after that, only now returning in the Olympic season. Recently, during Team USA's interview featuring elite athletes such as Tara Davis Woodhall, Tripp Piperi, Trey Cunningham, CJ Allen and Hall, she shared her anticipation for the Games ahead of the team's Track and Field Trials.

Hall was asked what she is most excited about for the 2024 Paris Olympics. She replied,

"I think I'm most excited to get into the Olympic atmosphere."

The 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials will begin on June 21 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, and will go on till June 30.

Anna Hall competed at the 2024 Adidas Atlanta City Games held at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia on May 18th, 2024,.after returning to the sport in the Olympic season. She achieved two season-best records there.

Hall settled for eighth place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.55 seconds. She also competed in the long jump event alongside Tara Davis-Woodhall and achieved a mark of 6.18m. Fans who came in large numbers to witness the World Championships medalist prove her prospect cheered her as she crossed the 6m mark.

Overwhelmed by the support she received, Hall took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the fans and wrote,

"The support truly touched my heart !! & to the group yelling “welcome back” when I jumped over 6m again thanks for almost making me cry mid comp 🥹"

Anna Hall also took part in the 2024 USATF NYC Grand Prix held on June 8 and 9, clocking a time of 13.57 seconds in the 100m hurdles and marking 6.09m in the long jump event.
