Simone Biles exuded confidence after adding her ninth national title to her long list of laurels. Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, the two-time Olympian felt that she got better with age and wished to maintain her win streak in the following events.

Simone Biles earned four golds and one bronze at the 2016 Summer Games, her debut Olympiad. In 2020 Tokyo, she entered the gymnastic mat as the favorite but withdrew, citing 'twisties'. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she will be the top seed entering the French capital since her track record from the 2023 US Classic to the 2024 US Championships has been phenomenal.

Biles rounded off her medal count to 37 after she won her sixth world title at the 2023 World Championships. In 2024, she entered only two events, the Hydration Core Classic, and the US Gymnastics Championships. Unsurprisingly, she won her seventh US Classic title and her ninth national title, becoming the first gymnast in history to achieve so.

Confident of what's to come next, Simone Biles has been in phenomenal form this year and the building expectations didn't take a toll on her. Instead, unlike her past Olympic experience, she is confident in herself and awaits better days at the Paris Olympics.

"I use the phrase ‘aging like fine wine,' ... It’s just getting better and better. We’ll see. Hopefully we get to ride this out for the rest of the year," Biles said. (via Stuff)

Biles was not in a state to think of her gymnastic comeback a couple of years ago. However, being committed to therapy has been beneficial to her healing journey, which also helped her regain trust in herself.

"It took a lot mentally and physically to trust my gymnastics again and most importantly trust myself." (via Stuff)

Simone Biles marked her return at the 2024 US Classic by claiming her sixth world title at the 2023 World Championships. Her all-around score of 59.500 kept her in pole position at the US Classic, falling short of the 60.000 benchmark by just a fraction.

At the 2024 US Championships, she earned 60.450 on the first night, proving her steadfastness. Cecile Landi appreciated Biles' attitude and behavior for her reigning position, not solely her gymnastic skills.

"It’s not even the skills. It’s the attitude and her behaviour. I really feel like she’s happy to be here. I know she says she’s ready to be done, but I think she’s really enjoying it and appreciating every meet she gets to do.” (Via Stuff)

Biles will be performing at the 2024 US Olympic Team Trials next. The event will commence on June 27 and will run till June 30, 2024, at Target Center, Minneapolis.
