Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten are enjoying their first reunion after the Dancing With The Stars Finale at the fullest. The two are cherishing their together and recently tried some hilarious dance moves.

After placing runner-up in the finale, Maher took off for the United Kingdom to sign a three-month contract with Premiership Women's Rugby club Bristol Bears. The 28-year-old is set for her debut in January 2025 and after a few practice sessions with the team, she returned to the States for Christmas festivities this week.

The two-time Olympian had a reunion with partner Bersten but the pair are now cherishing their time together to the fullest. In a recent video shared by Maher on her Instagram handle, the pair tried several hilarious dance moves hanging themselves in the downward direction in one scene.

Maher also did the popular holding the pole salute while Bertsen stretched his legs with his cat in his hands before spinning himself on a table.

"Tried em all," she captioned the video

Maher will return to the United Kingdom following Christmas festivities. She is likely to make her debut against local rivals Gloucester on January 5 and is expected to play in the center and the wing for the Bears.

Speaking in an interview with the Guardian earlier this month, Ilona Maher acknowledged the low popularity of rugby in the United States and claimed that she needed to do more than play on the field to earn 'real money' and that's where social media came to her rescue.

"I didn’t want people to think I wasn’t serious because I do social media or social media takes away my impact on the field. As a female athlete I would love to just focus on what I am doing on the field but if I want to live a comfortable life, if I want to make real money, I have to actually do more. Maybe that is a female thing, sometimes we have to do more.

The 28-year-old further added that she didn't want to give up either of rugby or social media.

"I wasn’t willing to give up something that could be so lucrative for me, I wanted to make sure I could do both," Ilona Maher added

The two-time Olympian is the most followed rugby player in the world and has called for modernization of the game through social media platforms.
