The American professional Latin and ballroom dancer partnered with rugby star during the 33rd season of DWTS is now preparing for the upcoming DWTS: Live 2025 tour. Bersten is currently focused on rehearsals alongside other renowned dancers from the show.

Bersten reflected on the joyous occasion with his family on Instagram and captioned the photo with heartfelt wishes for the new year.

"Happy New Year from my beautiful family! 🩵🎉"

Maher's dance partner recently shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on his successful 2024. He expressed gratitude to the rugby star, calling her a friend for life. The dancer also shared highlights from the year, including moments with his dogs, a visit to London, and photos alongside the bronze medalist. He wrote a caption:

"I can’t put into words how special 2024 was for me! Not only did I have the best season ever with @ilonamaher, and made a friend for life!! I also got @jeffbersten, and truthfully I don’t know how I got so lucky. Plus, I travelled to England and went into a real phone booth. Who would have thought?!"

Ilona Maher responded to his message:

Following the conclusion of the 33rd season of Dancing with the Stars in November 2024, the show returns as a live tour. Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, who finished as runners-up in the competition, are among the season's highlights.

Beginning in January 2025, the DWTS: Live tour will travel various locations, featuring a stellar lineup of performers, including Alan Bersten, Britt Stewart, Brandon Armstrong, Daniella Karagach, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, Ezr Sosa, Pasha Pashkov and Rylee Arnold. The world champion- Stephen Nedoroscik, will co-host the show.

Hinting at the start of the rehearsals for the show, the pro dancer shared his excitement on Instagram in December 2024:

"Honestly, I cannot wait for tour to start! I hope everyone had a great weekend!!! What city are you going to come watch us at?! "

The DWTS: Live is produced in collaboration with ABC, Hulu, Disney+, and BBC Studios as a Faculty Production. It represents the continued growth of the DWTS brand. Ilona Maher is set to appear as a special guest on April 5.
