American athlete Anna Hall this week revealed her training regime ahead of the 2025 season. This comes a few months after she competed in her debut Olympic Games in Paris.
The 23-year-old navigated an injury-prone year with a bruise to her knee in January this year. Despite this, she competed in numerous meets following her recovery and has now started preparations for 2025 quite early.
She took to her Instagram handle to share a video of her week-long training schedule in her story. Her routine included shot put sessions, physical therapies, javelin practices, and pool sessions. Besides her workouts, Hall has kept Sunday as her off day to rest and relax her body.
Here are some of the pictures of her third week's training routine posted in her story:
Anna Hall concluded her 2024 track and field campaign at the quadrennial Games where she finished fifth in the heptathlon with a mark of 6615. She had third-placed finishes in the javelin throw and high jump.
She ended her season in the third position in the world rankings with a score of 1380. She finished behind the 2024 Olympics gold and silver medalists, Nafissatou Thiam who had 1440 points, and Katarina Johnson-Thompson who had 1411 points.
Legendary heptathlon athlete Jackie Joyner-Kersee heaped praise on Anna Hall before U.S. Olympic Trials
Two-time heptathlon gold medalist Jackie Joyner-Kersee praised Anna Hall before the US track and field Olympic Trials. Joyner-Kersee is the world record holder in the heptathlon event with 7291 points, which she registered in the 1988 Olympics.
Speaking in an interview with Olympics.com, Joyner-Kersee stated that Hall is one of the toughest competitors she has seen. She said,
"Anna Hall is one of the toughest competitors I've seen. She'll go through a brick wall to get it done. She has the mindset that, if she's out there, there's no giving up on Anna. She's going to give it her all."
Just a few days after this interview, Anna Hall produced an impressive performance at the US Olympic track Trials. She clinched the top position in the heptathlon event with a mark of 6614. The 23-year-old won the high jump, 200m, and 800m events in the Trials.
