American track and field star Anna Hall has shared a few experiences from 2024, referring to them as 'life files’. Hall has been making the most of her off-season after her close finish at the Paris Olympics, where she narrowly missed out on a medal.
At the quadrennial games, Hall delivered a brilliant performance to finish fifth with an overall score of 6615 points in the women’s heptathlon. The event saw Nafissatou Thiam (6880 points) winning her third successive Olympic title in the event, while Katarina Johnson-Thompson (6844 points) and Noor Vidts (6707 points) claimed the silver and bronze medals respectively.
Earlier in January 2024, Hall underwent a knee injury which ruled her out of competitions for a few months. This wasn’t the first time Hall experienced a setback as she had previously broken her foot while competing at the 2020 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials held in 2021. Owing to this, the heptathlete’s Road to Paris was itself a challenging one.
Following a tough year, the 23-year-old posted glimpses of some of the important moments from her life via Instagram, captioned:

These collections included her attending an NFL game between the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars, post-surgery training images, moments with her dog, signing autographs for fans, and her appearance at the Stella McCartney Womenswear Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show.
In August, following the Olympics, the two-time World Championships medalist also shared glimpses of her off-season, giving quality time to herself, friends, family, and her dog while taking a break from track and field.
