Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus shared glimpses of her recent look amid the holiday season. This comes just a few days after her Christmas celebration at home with her friends.
The Tasmanian native has been enjoying her time off from swimming after the Olympic Games. She has been spotted attending several top events such as the NGV Gala since then. Moreover, Titmus was also present at the Australian Parliament House for an honoring ceremony.
The Australian swimmer took to her Instagram handle to share a couple of pictures from her holiday mood ahead of the new year. In the first picture, Titmus could be seen donning a brown dress and complementing it with black sunglasses and a white handbag as she posed for a mirror selfie.
Titmus concluded her 2024 season with one gold and two silver medals at the Paris Olympics. Additionally, she was a part of the team that won the 4x200m freestyle. Other members of the quartet included Brianna Throssel, Lani Pallister, and Mollie O'Callaghan. Owing to these impressive performances, Titmus also bagged a major honor from her home state, Tasmania.
Ariarne Titmus opened up about her time at the 2024 Paris Olympic Village
Ariarne Titmus shared her experience of staying at the 2024 Paris Olympic Village. During the competition, the 24-year-old was part of the Australian team and bagged four medals.
In an interview, Titmus revealed that their bed sheets were changed only once during their stay at the Village. She also mentioned that the athletes had to lie about being roommates to get extra toilet rolls as they were provided with only one roll for an apartment. She said (via WhatsNew2Day):
"Our bed sheets got changed after the first night we were there and then they didn’t get changed for the rest of the time we were there, so we were living in filth. We had to lie about being roommates so we could get toilet rolls. You'd run out of toilet paper and they'd give you one [roll] for four days for the entire apartment."
During the interview, Titmus also claimed that the room they were staying in at the Village was ever smaller than her bathroom.
