Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus shared glimpses from her holiday time on the beach. This came just a few months after her campaign at her second quadrennial games in Paris, where she won two gold and two silver medals.
However, the Tasmania native hasn't featured in any swimming competitions such as the FINA World Aquatics World Cup after August as she had decided to take a break from the pool after the quadrennial games. She recently announced her decision to return to the swimming circuit after the new year.
Taking advantage of this break, Ariarne Titmus spent some leisure time at the beaches. She took to her Instagram handle to share a few glimpses of this vacation time. In the posts, Titmus can be seen donning grey and black dresses as she enjoys her time with various types of food and drinks.
"Holiday season," Titmus added in her caption.

Besides her performance at the French capital, Titmus also achieved several other feats such as being included in Forbes Australia's 30 Under 30 list.
Ariarne Titmus opens up about her rivalry with American swimmer Katie Ledecky after a successful Paris Olympics
Ariarne Titmus shed light on her rivalry with Katie Ledecky during the 2024 Olympics. This came just a few weeks after the conclusion of the quadrennial games in Paris.
In an interview, Titmus stated that competing with a decorated swimmer like Ledecky was a 'privilege' for her. She also mentioned their contest in the Women's 800m freestyle event and admitted that she gave a tough competition to the American swimmer. She said (via Olympics.com):
"It's so fun, and it's an absolute privilege to push her and she pushes me every day. I think we've made each other better because of it. The 800 final (in Paris) was such a fun race to be a part of. I really took it to her and challenged her, and I'm so proud of my efforts in that. She's remarkable."
The 800m freestyle event was eventually won by Ledecky who registered a time of 8:11.04. Titmus secured the second position despite clocking an Oceanic record clock time in the event (8:12.29).
However, the Australian swimmer did manage to beat Ledecky in the 400m freestyle. Titmus clinched the gold after clocking a time of 3:57.49 in this event while Ledecky settled in for a third-place finish.
