Brock Lesnar's daughter Mya Lesnar talks about her father's support in her career
After her NCAA achievement, the 22-year-old talked about moving out of her father's shadow and making a name for herself. To her, the WWE star is just a father who supports her from her 'corner'. Speaking to 9 News Sports Denver in June this year, she said:
"It’s really not about my dad. He’s one of my biggest supporters but honestly, at the end of the day, I am here to make a name for myself. Him just being in my corner and now me kind of being in the spotlight and him in my shadow a little bit, watching me, I think that’s super cool," Mya said.
The 22-year-old also shared what Brock told her after she won her NCAA title, mentioning that the retired wrestler advised her to keep improving instead of resting on the accolades.
"Take it all in, enjoy it and then, you know, put it away and we move on," she added.
Now signed with the Colorado State Rams, the shot put winner dreams of joining the military someday, as evident in her Arizona State athlete profile.
