Elaine Thompson-Herah, who is the fastest woman alive and the second-fastest in history, has left social media abuzz with stunning pictures as she enjoys her off-season. The Jamaican sprinter remained out of competition for most of the 2024 season due to injuries.

As Thompson-Herah now prepares for the 2025 track and field season, she recently shared a series of stunning pictures in a tyrian purple-colored dress from her night out amid the holiday season.

The 2015 World Champion is also seen donning a black coat and enjoying delicious food at a restaurant as she boasted about "being fabulous."

"Just another night being fabulous 😉😚," she captioned the post.

Thompson-Herah deferred her 2024 season-opening race multiple times before making an appearance at the Prefontaine Classic. While the five-time Olympic champion finished last in the race in 11.30s, she looked in good rhythm before suffering an injury at the New York Grand Prix two weeks later.

The 32-year-old had suffered a small tear in her Achilles tendon and withdrew from the Jamaican Trials as well as the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she was set to defend the 100m and the 200m title alongside the 4x100m relay title with Jamaica.

She is the only sprinter in history to win the 100m and the 200m at back-to-back Olympic Games, and if the Jamaican could have defended her titles in Paris, she would've arguably been counted as the greatest female sprinter of all time.

Following the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Elaine Thompson-Herah has changed her coaches thrice after splitting with Jamaican legend Stephen Francis, who had guided her since 2012. The 32-year-old worked with her husband in the following two years but the lack of medals led her to join hands with Shanike Osbourne in 2023.

However, she split with Osbourne shortly after over payment-related issues and hired Reynaldo Walcott, who also coached Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. The results still eluded Thompson-Herah, who missed most of 2024 due to injuries before splitting with Walcott as well last month. Fraser-Pryce, who also struggled with injuries in 2024, has also reportedly split with the Jamaican national.

Following Elaine Thompson-Herah's split with Walcot, it was speculated that the five-time Olympic champion had relocated to Florida to train under Rana Reider. However, the Jamaican's management has clarified that she has yet to join any new training camp and was only for treatment purposes in the United States.
