In Pictures: Gabby Thomas raves about her Maldives vacation with boyfriend Spencer McManes as they enjoy Himalayan salt room experience together

American track star Gabby Thomas is making the most of her off-season after an outstanding performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She is currently on vacation in the Maldives, an island nation in Asia, with her boyfriend Spencer McManes.

Thomas had a remarkable outing at the quadrennial games, where she took home three gold medals—one in the individual 200m and two as a key member of the women’s 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams. Since becoming a three-time Olympic gold medalist, she has risen to global prominence. The 27-year-old wrapped up her 2024 season at the inaugural Athlos NYC, earning a $25,000 cash prize with her second-place finish in the 200m.

Thomas shared highlights from the first day of her stunning Maldives vacation on Instagram via a reel, with a voiceover recap of her day.

In the voiceover, she detailed her journey from Male airport to the resort via seaplane and raved about the villa's picturesque view, from where the ocean could be seen. Here's what she captioned the post:

“the most beautiful place 🥹🫶🏽”

Notably, Thomas’ boyfriend Spencer McManes was clicked alongside her. The track athlete shared a picture of the two in white bathrobes on her Instagram story.

They also had a great experience at the Himalayan salt room, as Thomas posted a picture of the room there.

Following her graduation and relocation to Austin, Texas, in October 2022, Thomas reportedly began dating McManes, as reported by People.com. McManes was also an athlete during his college days as he played as a quarterback for Yale University.

Currently, he is serving as the senior customer success manager at DataGrail, according to his LinkedIn profile, and is also the founder of Kaviva, a non-alcoholic beverage brand.

Gabby Thomas and his boyfriend Spencer McManes attended the WNBA playoff game between the New York Liberty and Atlanta Dream. The Liberty emerged victorious with a score of 91-82. Gabby shared glimpses of her experience on her Instagram, including a picture of her sitting with her boyfriend.
