Imane Khelif recently captivated her fans' attention in a stunning all-black ensemble as she graced the cover of Vogue Arabia, showcasing her unique style. Khelif made headlines at the 2024 Paris Olympics after clinching a gold medal in the women's 66kg boxing category.
In the round of 16, the Algerian boxer faced Italian boxer Angela Carini, who pulled out from the bout within 46 seconds, stating she "never felt a punch like this." Following the incident, reports of Khelif's allegedly failed gender tests during the 2023 World Championships in New Delhi started making rounds on social media.
The 25-year-old rencountered huge backlash, with a few also deeming her transgender. However, she decided to keep her peace and went on to enjoy a victorious streak, defeating China's Liu Yang in the final with an overwhelming victory.
After more than a month following her success, Khelif, who received criticism for her bold and strong appearance stunned the fans with her first Vogue Arabia Cover for the November 2024 issue.
In one of the pictures, he was seen donning a big black leather coat with her hair sleeked back. Khelif completed the look with boxing tape around her wrists and high heels. In her second look, she is seen slaying in a grey court paired with a round black turtle neck t-shirt.
Vogue Arabia hard the pictures of the Olympic champion and penned a heartwarming message, writing:
"An inspiration to millions at just 25 years old, #ImaneKhelif has always taken each experience in her stride with an unshakeable faith in herself."

Imane Khelif recently reflected on her campaign at the Paris Games as a tough experience.
In an interview with Vogue, she credited her ability to navigate the backlash with her faith in God and herself. Khelif further stated that the struggles were important for her to achieve the feat.
“It was a very difficult experience,” Khelif recalled. “Despite winning the gold medal, that one event felt like a whole lifetime. The experiences were multiple and varied within one isolated incident. I was able to overcome it all thanks to my faith in God, in myself, and my dream. Without such challenges, I would never have become a champion.”
Imane khelif became the first Algerian, Arab, and African woman to earn a gold medal in boxing at the Games.
