American swimmer Katie Ledecky graced an event organized by the Cade Museum in Gainesville on Monday (Dec 9). The event was organized jointly by the Lynx Books store and the museum.

The program mainly focused on the discussion of Ledecky's memoir, "Just Add Water: My Swimming Life" with the audience. The book is based on Ledecky's journey from a child in Maryland to one of the most decorated female swimmers in the history of the discipline.

The Lynx Books' Instagram handle shared a few glimpses from the event. In the posts, Ledecky can be seen addressing a room full of people with novelist and co-owner of the Lynx Books, Lauren Groff beside her. The American swimmer can be seen donning a grey blazer and complementing it with black pants and shoes. It remarked in the caption:

"Thank you to everyone who joined us last night at @cademuseum for a conversation with @katieledecky! It was an honor to have you" .

During the event, signed copies of Ledecky's books were also available for the audience. The book was released earlier this year in June by Simon and Schuster publishers and has received major appreciation from the masses leading to it becoming a New York bestseller.
