Mondo Duplantis, who was recently seen enjoying his vacation with his girlfriend, Desire Inglander, visited the Bottega Veneta event. The pole vaulter had an impressive 2024 season, where he did not endure a single defeat.

From the Diamond Leagues to the Paris Olympics, the Swedish athlete conquered it all, and that too with multiple world records. He surpassed his own world record three times this year, starting with the Xiamen Diamond League on April 20, where he cleared a distance of 6.24m and continued his streak during the Paris Olympics.

At the quadrennial event, Duplantis registered a height of 6.25m and broke his world record once again in the Silesia Diamond League, where he jumped 6.26m. Not long after his triumph in Poland, the pole vaulter went on a vacation with his girlfriend to Milan. During their vacation, the couple recently visited the fashion walk show of the luxurious brand, Bottega Veneta.

Inglander shared a glimpse of their time through a bunch of pictures and videos on Instagram. She donned a stunning black-colored outfit with a sleek ponytail, and Duplantis also wore black jackets with black pants and paired it with a white t-shirt. The post also carried videos from the fashion walk and photos of Inglander getting ready for the show. The caption read:

Mondo Duplantis opened up about breaking world record during the Paris Olympics

Mondo Duplantis set a world record by soaring to 6.25m during the Paris Olympics, defeating Sam Kendricks and Emmanuel Karalis, who registered the heights of 5.95m and 5.90m, respectively. Following this win, the 24-year-old spoke to Olympics.com about the world record, saying that he "visualized" the moment in his head even before performing.

"I visualized this exact situation happening 1000 times in my head," said Mondo Duplantis. "I feel like that was almost every time I went out to the backyard, and I went jumping I would visualize this exact situation - it was world record height, Olympic final."

Exuding confidence in himself, the Olympic champion added:

"I know I can jump higher, and I want to jump a lot higher. I would like to jump over 6.30m."

Talking further about the special moment that occurred in Paris, the Swedish athlete said:

"I've visualized and dreamt of this moment since I was just a little kid, like looking at the world record height at the Olympic final. For it to actually happen, the way that it did, especially in that stadium with the most amazing crowd that I've ever been a part of, it’s kind of hard to beat. And I'm okay with that. I don't think I really need to beat it because it’s probably not really beatable."

Mondo Duplantis surpassed the pole vault world record at the Silesia Diamond League for the tenth time by achieving 6.26m.
