Recently, Duplantis opened up about his relationship with the Swedish model, emphasizing that she gave him ‘balance’ in his life.

“Desiré brings me such a great balance in life. It’s so nice to be able to come home and escape into a completely different world, absorb ourselves in each other and whatever we’re doing. She’s a great travel buddy,” he said in a conversation with Vogue Scandinavia.

For her part, Inglander opened up about how planning trips to her boyfriend's competitions and balancing her own work sometimes got difficult. She explained that she appreciated the pole vaulter's easy going nature in this aspect, saying,

“The only crazy part is the planning aspect, it can be so impossible to plan everything out. But I also kind of love that. I’m the planning freak and Mondo is the complete opposite. But he’s taught me to just let it happen, let it flow. He brings me down to earth.”

For Mondo Duplantis, his focus will now likely turn to the 2025 competitive season, with yet another World Championships gold beckoning in Tokyo next year.
