Mondo Duplantis and his girlfriend, Desire Inglander, are currently having the time of their lives during their vacation in Milan. They have shared glimpses of their trip after the pole vault champion ended his 2024 season at the Diamond League finals in Brussels.

Duplantis had a victorious 2024 with his dominant performances in all the events he competed in. He surpassed his world record three times this year. The first one was during the Xiamen Diamond League on 20 April. The Swedish athlete delivered another formidable performance by soaring to the height of 6.25m at the Paris Olympics and setting a world record for the second time.

Following the Paris Olympics win, the 24-year-old continued his dominance at the Diamond Leagues. He won the Lausanne Diamond League and set another world record at the Silesia Diamond League by registering a height of 6.26m. His last performance of the year was at the Brussels Diamond League, where he again clinched gold by attaining 6.11m.

Days after ending his 2024 successfully, Duplantis and his girlfriend shared glimpses from the first day of their trip to Milan. Inglander shared a carousel of pictures on Instagram, where she donned a beautiful blue-colored short dress and Duplantis rocked a black-colored attire.

The post also carried pictures of their food and the wholesome moments they spent together. Excited for the next day of their vacation, Inglander added the caption:

"First night in Milan. Can't wait for tomorrow!"

Mondo Duplantis opened up about his third world record of 2024 at the Silesia Diamond League

Mondo Duplantis opened up about his third world record of 2024, and tenth overall, which he made at the Silesia Diamond League on 25 August. In the post-jump interview, the Swedish athlete said that he was focused on the Olympics this year and the records came in "naturally."

He also showed gratitude for the record, as quoted by Reuters:

"This year I focused on the Olympics, the record just came naturally because I was in good shape," Mondo Duplantis said. "So, I am not surprised with the record today but I am thankful."

Speaking about the love he received from the crowd, Duplantis added:

"It almost feels weird and unnatural to get so much love and support from the crowds when I compete. I see that especially in Poland. The energy in this stadium just keeps getting better every year. My first world record also came in Poland, indoors in Torun (in 2020), so I have great memories from here."

Following the conclusion of his season, Mondo Duplantis was recently seen trying an adorable 'upside down' social media trend with his girlfriend, Desire Inglander.
