The couple announced their engagement on social media by sharing a video on October 12. It showcased the location of the beautifully arranged proposal, which carried a giant heart made with pink roses with 'Will You Marry Me' written on the sides of the heart.

This was followed by the couple's entry with them holding their hands. Lyles then sat down on one knee proposing to Bromfield, who donned a shimmery silver-colored dress. The video concluded with the couple sharing an adorable kiss, and the Jamaican proudly flaunting her ring.

The first picture showcased a selfie of the athlete, where she flaunted her engagement ring. Other pictures showed her and her friends striking poses on the yacht and the swimming pool.
