When Noah Lyles appeared on Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show"
Noah Lyles joined the likes of Usain Bolt, Justin Gatlin, etc. by achieving a world championship triple and securing three gold medals at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest. Furthermore, he is also a four-time Diamond League final winner, and all these accolades have brought him the inevitable fame and recognition.
Being one of the most popular faces in the current track running scene, the sprinter was invited on Jimmy Fallon's popular "The Tonight Show," which according to him was a bucket list moment. Sharing pictures from his apperance in an all-black attire, Lyles wrote:
"Bucket list update - @fallontonight"
While at the show, Fallon referred to Lyles as the fastest man in the world and asked him about his speed, to which the Olympian replied:
"I'd say 26 miles per hour. So if I ran in a school zone, I'd get a ticket [laughs]. I'm putting in more than 300 pounds of force into those [starting] blocks."
However, fans scrutinized him for calling himself the fastest runner, expressing their disbelief at his remarks.
