Several Paris Olympics stars such as Masai Russell, Gerek Meinhardt, and Lee Kiefer were recently honored by their alma mater, the University of Kentucky. This event took place on Sunday during the University's home basketball clash against Louisville Cardinals, which the home team won 93-85.

Russell and Keifer clinched the gold medals during the 2024 quadrennial games. While Russell bagged the first prize in the 100m hurdles event, Kiefer clinched two gold medals in the team and individual fencing events. Kiefer's husband Meinhardt failed to win a medal in the event but got the honor of becoming a fifth-time Olympian for his country.

The University of Kentucky's Instagram handle shared a few glimpses of this event. In the post, Russell can be seen donning the University's jacket and the 2024 Olympics gold medal. Kiefer also carried her two gold laurels in the event with her while she wore a black jacket and black pants.

Meinhardt was also seen in an all-black dress code including black t-shirts, pants, and a cap. The handle remarked in the caption:

"Olympians Masai Russell, Lee Kiefer, and Gerek Meinhardt in the house".
