Richardson has always been big on nails and looks great while on the track, noting that it is a confidence booster when she goes to compete. The reigning world 100m champion insisted that her extra-long nails do not make her uncomfortable whatsoever.

Ahead of track and field action scheduled for August 1 to 11, Richardson has revealed the nails she will be donning at the Paris Olympic Games.

In a photo shared by Track and Field Gazette on X, the nails look strikingly iconic, with some having the USA flag. Other nails are colored purple with unique art.

Richardson will make her Olympic debut after a turn of events at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. She was suspended for a month and forced to miss the Games, which she had qualified for at the Olympic trials.

She went for this year’s U.S. Olympic trials, Richardson had one goal, to dig deep for a win and compete on a stage where she had to wait four more years to compete.

She oozed class, winning the heats and preliminaries of the women’s 100m, clocking 10.88 and 10.86, respectively. She clocked a stunning world-leading time of 10.71 in the final to seal her ticket to Paris.

Sha'Carri Richardson spoke about her unique fashion in an interview with Nylon, an assorted luxury cosmetic brand.

Richardson explained that growing up, she was always taught to look good, and that culture has stuck with her. She added that to achieve great things; you need to do what makes what makes your soul shine.

"If you look good, you feel good, you do good — I feel that way on and off the track. I’ve always been taught that anytime you leave your house, you should look your best," Richardson said.
"I feel that way when I compete, even though it’s on a larger scale. In life, you walk out your house and you want to manifest great things for yourself or attract just positive energy. In order to do that, you start with what makes your energy good," she added.

At the Paris Olympic Games, Richardson will be joined by Melissa Jefferson and Twanisha Terry chasing for stardom. Now that she has unveiled her unique nails, fans are waiting for her wig collection.
