Shaun White celebrated American Independence Day with his girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, wearing Team USA's official village kit for the Paris Olympics. The couple was seen together after a long time as White was busy with several professional endeavors and Dobrev was recovering from an injury due to a bike accident.

Nina Dobrev met with a bike accident early in June while she attempted to do a wheelie on the bike and lost control. The accident led her to have multiple injuries, including a fractured knee and ACL damage. She took to Instagram to share before and after photos with her fans.

As her recovery is underway, the couple celebrated the 4th of July together by doing fun activities. They exuded excitement for the upcoming Paris Olympics by wearing Team USA's official merchandise for the Paris Olympics.

Shaun White took to Instagram to share glimpses of their celebration. Even though Dobrev had to use a walking stick for support, they made sure to have a great time together. White exhibited some skills on the surfboard as his friends cheered him on. They enjoyed the day with some music and had a great time with their friends on the boat.

Shaun White supported Nina Dobrev after her bike accident in June. The former Alpine skier who was busy with his professional endeavors spoke to People's magazine about Dobrev's recovery post-accident.

“She's such a trooper. I mean, she really took her recovery so seriously. She's icing, she's taking peptides, she's doing this everyday therapy. She's honestly more diligent than I was even while I was competing. So she's bounced back really quickly,” he said.

White is one of the torch bearers in the pre-launch event of the Paris Olympics. He opened up on his plans to attend the prestigious quadrennial games with his friends and Nina.

" But yeah, we're planning on going to the Summer Olympics and cheer on some friends out there in skateboarding and fencing,” he added.

Being adrenaline junkies, the couple continues to enjoy their free time seeking adventure.
