In Pictures: Shaun White and Nina Dobrev enjoy July together as the latter recovers from knee surgery

Shaun White and Nina Dobrev recently shared glimpses of them enjoying their time together away from their professional lives while Dobrev recovers from her knee surgery. White and Dobrev have been dating since 2020 and often express love for each other through social media.

Shaun White, the world record holder for the most Olympic medals and X Games golds by a snowboarder, left an indelible mark on the sporting world. He won ten ESPY awards and became the first athlete to win the Summer and Winter X Games in both skateboarding and snowboarding.

Outside of sports, White also enjoyed an adorable dating life with girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, the Vampire Diaries alum. The couple reportedly first met at an awards show in 2012, followed by their formal introduction in 2019, before making their relationship official in 2020.

They have since been journeying together and hyping each other in personal achievements. Recently, Dobrev met with an e-bike accident, which caused her to require braces around her leg and neck. She had to undergo surgery for her injuries, but later reassured on her Instagram that it was a "success".

Recently, she spent some time with her boyfriend, Shaun White. White posted a photo dump on Instagram featuring Nina, himself, and their pet dog, Maverick. In the photos, the couple was seen enjoying kayaking, sweet getaways, and in-car selfies.

"Little bit of July," White captioned the post.

The picture series also featured US singer-songwriter Finneas and actor and film producer Aaron Paul on a boat with Shaun White. In the last picture, the former snowboarding was seen all cuddled up with his girlfriend's dog, Maverick.

Shaun White and Nina Dobrev enjoyed their trip to Disneyland and Coachella before Dobrev's dirt bike accident

Shaun White organized Dobrev's surprise 35th birthday trip to Disneyland early in January 2024. The latter posted a photo series on her Instagram wearing Minnie Mouse headbands and enjoying her time as the center of attention. She was accompanied on the memorable trip by White, and friends, Keleigh Sperry, Julianne Hough, and Lauren Parkesian, among others.

She penned a heartfelt note in her post caption, expressing gratitude to her close ones.

"Happiest surprise on the happiest day at the happiest place on earth..Feeling incredibly lucky, celebrated, loved, grateful and appreciative of all the wonderful souls I am fortunate to surround myself with..Huge thank you to my love @shaunwhite for orchestrating the whole thing!"

White and Dobrev hit the Coachella ground in April 2024 to enjoy another adventure together, accompanied by their pet, Maverick.
