Four-time Olympic champion Simone Biles shared glimpses from the first training session as she prepares to participate in the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials, ready to kick off on Thursday.

Biles began her 2024 season at the US Core Hydration Classic in May, where the gymnast clinched the all-around title to open the season in style against a star-studded lineup of Shilese Jones, Jordan Chiles, among others.

Biles is also coming off an incredible all-around title victory at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships earlier this month, where she created history by winning a record-extending ninth national title in Fort Worth, Texas.

Simone Biles will be competing in the trials for her third consecutive Olympic event, scheduled for Paris in July. Her performance at the U.S. Championships also earned her a spot in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team Trials.

Amid her remarkable 2024 season so far, her next stop is going to be Target Center in Minneapolis, where the legendary gymnast will be looking to punch her ticket to yet another Summer Games. Her excitement was evident in her Instagram story, which features her long-time coach, Laurent Lendi, striking a pose while looking all hyped up for the trials.

"Mood for the week," is what she wrote in the story.

The 23-time world champion has already reached the Target Center arena, as shown in her recent tweet, where she shared two pictures in which she appeared in a jolly mood as "US Olympic Team Trials Gymnastics" reflected in the background.

"olympic trials," Biles wrote in the caption.
