Simone Biles donned the Boston-based professional ice hockey team Boston Bruins' jersey, and Jordan Chiles flaunted the NBA team Boston Celtics jersey at their Gold Over America tour stop in Boston. The teammates came fresh off their tour stop at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, days after concluding their Olympic campaigns in Paris.
Biles, 27, competed at her third edition of the sporting event in Paris and amassed three golds and a silver. Soon after the American's stint in the French capital, she brought back the Gold Over America tour for the second time on September 17, 2024, the pop-concert-style event she designed to inspire young girls to take up the sport and be vocal about mental health.
After 13 successful tour stops, the GOAT team, including Biles' women's gymnastics teammates and the US male gymnasts, performed at TD Garden in Boston on September 6, 2024. While in Boston, Biles and Jordan Chiles stunned in Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics jerseys respectively.
In a recent Instagram story, the 11-time Olympic medalist was seen wearing a custom-made Boston Bruins (the ice hockey team in existence since 1924) and Jordan Chiles posed alongside Biles in a Boston Celtics (the NBA team with the most Championships wins) jersey.
The gymnasts also turned heads with their pilot-themed leotards, among other customized looks, during the Gold Over America Tour. The team even performed with the former looks on the final night of America's Got Talent, another of Biles' reality show appearances after 'Dancing With the Stars'.
Simone Biles suffered a fall on the Gold Over America Tour
Amid the Boston performance on October 6-7 on the pop-concert-style tour, which sold a record 182,000 tickets in the inaugural edition in 2021, Biles attempted a backfull during practice but missed the landing. She shared a few stories of the same, with her caption reading:
"Back to the basics. Not all of us terrified of a back full though..."
The GOAT squad will next perform at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore on October 8, 2024. The tour will conclude on November 3, with its last stop at Little Caesars Arena in Michigan.
