Simone Biles, the reigning triple Olympic champion, recently posted unseen behind-the-scenes pictures with her castmates from the Gold Over America Tour. The tour, which spanned nearly two months and visited numerous arenas across the United States, ended this past Sunday.
Following an incredible run at the Paris Olympics in August, where Biles secured three gold medals in team all-around, individual all-around, and vault, along with a floor exercise silver, the gymnast joined forces with Athleta to launch the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour—a one of a kind event designed to inspire the next generation of gymnasts.
The tour, which began in Oceanside, California, in September, included male gymnasts for the first time, unlike its first edition in 2021. Biles was joined by her gold-winning teammates from Paris, including Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera, along with Joscelyn Roberson, Peng Peng Lee, Fred Richard, Yul Moldauer, and Paul Juda, among others.
The show toured 30 cities across America, captivating fans for months before wrapping up on Sunday, November 3 in Detroit Michigan. Following the season's end, Simone Biles appeared to be missing the tour as she shared glimpses of behind-the-scenes of G.O.A.T on her Instagram stories on November 10.
"Welp, what a tough week....lots of feelings but I'm gonna share some recent happies from tour."
The pictures from the tour featured moments with her castmates, including Roberson, Carey, Rivera, and others. Biles also shared stills from her team's performances along with snaps of her twin sister Adria and father Ronald Biles.
Simone Biles reflects on the strong bond the Gold Over America Team built over the past two months - "We’re watching out for one another"
In a September conversation with NBC News, Biles noted that her castmates have formed a deep bond over the past few months and created memories that will last a lifetime.
"I feel like what we have out here is really more of a brotherhood and a sisterhood," Biles said. "We’re watching out for one another, but we’re also having fun and giving everyone their flowers because we all had such an amazing time in Paris. To celebrate that success with one another, as well as the crowd, is truly a blessing."
Their bond was even witnessed when Biles invited them during the Los Angeles premiere of her Netflix docuseries, Simone Biles Rising: Part 2.
