Simone Biles is one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, having won 3 World Championships and 11 Olympic medals. The American kickstarted her 2025 with a trip to New York alongside her husband, Jonathan Owens, and recently shared glimpses of her time in the city with fans.

Biles and Owens first met in 2020 on the celebrity dating app Raya. The pair quickly grew close and made their relationship public later that same year. Owens popped the question on Valentine's Day in 2022, and the couple got married a year later, first in an intimate courthouse ceremony in Texas and later in a fancy wedding in Cabo, Mexico.

Recently, Biles and Owens paid a visit to New York, as the former surprised Hoda Kotb on her last day of hosting the Today Show. While in NY, the duo made the most of their visit, exploring multiple restaurants and even attending the New York Knicks vs Oklahoma City Thunder NBA game at Madison Square Garden.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, January 17, Simone Biles shared glimpses of her trip to the city, simply captioning them,

Simone Biles takes a trip to Georgia with husband Jonathan Owens

For Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan Owens, 2025 has been a busy year already. After their trip to New York, the couple took a private jet to Georgia with Biles' former coach, Cecile Landi, to show support for the University of Georgia’s gymnastics team.

On Friday, January 17, Biles and Owens attended the Georgia GymDogs season opener for 2025. With the most decorated gymnast of all time and an NFL star cheering them on from the sidelines, the GymDogs impressed, storming to a 196.825 to 193.600 win over Boise State.

Over the years, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens have been each other's biggest cheerleaders. In 2024, Owens was present at every singles competition the gymnast competed in, cheering for her at the US Core Hydration Classic, the US National Championships, and the US Olympic Trials.

Owens even took some time off from his Chicago Bears training camp to head to the Paris Olympics, where Biles made history again, winning three gold and one silver medal. After the Games, the NFL safety even visited the gymnast on her Gold Over America Tour.

Simone Biles has been just as supportive of her husband, and after she wrapped up her 2024 competitive season, the 28-year-old has made appearances at multiple NFL games to cheer for Owens and the Chicago Bears.
