Simone Biles is all set to perform at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships 2024 with the Olympic trials in Foresight. The most decorated gymnast put forward an incredible performance at the U.S. Core Hydration Classic a few days ago and is on the pace to etch her name in the U.S. Gymnastics team if everything goes according to plan.

Simone Biles has made several changes along with her team to handle the pressure of participating in the Olympics and avoid any mishaps that would prevent her from performing her best. She began the Olympic season with the focus of incorporating these changes while performing, to be well-prepared for the upcoming major event.

The Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships began on May 30, 2024. The first day featured all the gymnasts on their podium training routines. Gymnasts like Suni Lee, Skye Blakey, and several others were carrying out their preparations on the mat for the main event.

Simone Biles took to Instagram to share glimpses of her podium training at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships. She wore a custom-made Gk Elite pink leotard during the podium training session.

Simone Biles pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics moments before participating in the team finals due to mental health concerns. Her withdrawal came as a shocker to fans and her well-wishers. Her coach, Cecil Landi opened up on the measures they have taken up as a team to prepare Biles for the Paris Olympics.

Cecil Landi spoke on the "All Things Gymnastics podcast" about their Paris Olympics preparation. Moreover, she revealed how they have been focussing on her mental health along with the training routine.

"She's really in tune with how she's feeling mentally and physically, speaking up about it, keeping up with her therapist weekly. She knows it's important. We've scheduled a lot of appointments until the end and making sure she has that routine going 'cause she knows she needs it. It's an escape and it's also what helps her continue what she's doing, " Landi said. (18:17)

Moreover, with several top gymnasts like Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Shilese Jones, Jordan Chiles, and many more aiming for a spot in the team, this year would feature one of the most competitive Olympic trials line-up since 2016.
