Simone Biles, Suni Lee, and other members of the USA women's Gymnastics team are all geared for the Paris Olympics 2024. With less than a week remaining before the competition starts, the American gymnasts have concluded their final training camp and will head towards Paris now.

Biles has led the charge for the USA in the last two Olympic Games in Rio and Tokyo. Although she had to withdraw from the finals of the latter due to twisties, the seven-time Olympic medalist did help the team qualify for the finals, where they later secured a silver medal.

But this year, they have their eyes on nothing less than a gold medal, and have publicly called the campaign the ‘redemption tour’. USA won the gold medals in all-around and floor competitions courtesy of Suni Lee and Jade Carey in Tokyo. However, they will be eying a clean sweep in Paris and have a very bright chance of doing so as well with Russia out of the competition.

The USA Gymnastics team landed in France a couple of days ago and July 22 marked their last competition before they head to Paris. Simone Biles shared a couple of pictures from the training camp, posing in excitement with other members of the team.

Suni Lee also took to social media to share the team photos. She wrote in the caption:

"oui (Yes in french) in parisss 🥖🥹🇺🇸"

The team was all smiles and were spotted wearing red, white, and blue leotards, which are themed on the USA national flag.

“Our redemption tour": Simone Biles looks to make up for the underwhelming performance at the Tokyo Olympics

Simone Biles qualified for the event finals in the floor, vault, balance beam, and all-around competitions along with the team event. She was all set for a historic repeat of her performance from the 2016 Rio Olympics before twisties forced her out of every final except the balance beam, where she returned to win a bronze medal.

Following a historic comeback in the coming years, Biles is now looking for redemption in Paris and to make up for the potential medals she lost in Tokyo. Speaking with reporters after winning the trials on June 30, the four-time Olympic champion stated (via People):

"This is definitely our redemption tour. I feel like we all have more to give."

Biles is the favorite for all-around competition, and so she is on the floor, vault, and balance beam. But in each of the events, she will face competition from Suni Lee, Jade Carey, and Brazil’s Rebecca Andrade.
