Team USA Gymnastics, consisting of Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Brody Malone, Fred Richard, and others, began their training for the Paris Olympics 2024 as they arrived in the French capital for the 33rd edition of the Summer Games.
The American lineup for the Paris quadrennial event was finalized at the US Olympic Gymnastics Trials held at the Target Center in Minneapolis from June 28th to July 1st. For the women's team, Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera made it to the final cut for the Games, while Leanne Wong and Joscelyn Roberson were selected as the alternates.
On the men's side, University of Michigan alumnus and 2023 World all-around bronze medalist Fred Richard won the finals at the trials, scoring 170.500, while Brody Malone with 170.300 and Shane Wiskus (169.650) took second and third place on the table, respectively. The trio was joined by Paul Juda (168.850), and Asher Hong (167.650). Shane Wiskus and Khoi Young were selected as the reserves.
As the Paris Olympics approach in seven days, Simone Biles and the American gymnastics roster have already reached the French soil to participate in the games. The team attended their first training camp on Friday, and pictures from the camp were shared by USA Gymnastics on their X handle. In the photos, the men's team appears to be listening to instructions from the coach, while the women's team is shown warming up. Simone Biles was pictured doing a "seated forward fold."

Simone Biles will be participating in her third consecutive Olympic Games in Paris, while Suni Lee, Jade Carey, and Jordan Chiles are set for their second Olympic appearances.
On the men's side, Brody Malone and Shane Wiskus enter their second Olympic event. All the other members of the team such as Hezly Rivera, Fred Richard, etc., will be participating in their first Summer Games.
