Training for her third Olympic event in Paris, American gymnastics icon Simone Biles and her USA team members showcased their massive hats at the Paris Olympics training camp.

Simone Biles will be joined by Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera for the USA team's Paris Olympics campaign. Leanne Wong and Joscelyn Roberson will be joining the roster as alternates.

Performing as per her usual reputation, Biles punched the Olympic ticket in dominating fashion at the US Olympic Trials held at Target Center in Minneapolis in June. The seven-time Olympic medalist posted an all-around score of 58.900 on day one and 117.225 in the finals and finished on top of the table.

In contrast, Suni Lee and Jordan Chiles placed second and third with scores of 111.675 and 111.425 respectively, to secure their berths for the second successive Summer Games event. Jade Carey (111.350), Hezly Rivera (111.150), Joscelyn Roberson (110.975), and Leanne Wong (110.425) also put on an incredible athletic display at the trials.

Simone Biles and all the Team USA members are currently sweating it out at the training camps. The gymnasts got a surprise at the camp as they were gifted the Noggin Boss' big hats featuring the US flag and Olympic rings. USA Gymnastics and Noggin Boss in a joint Instagram post shared the pictures of the athletes and support staff flaunting their hats and making goofy poses for the camera.

"BIG mood. Thanks to our friends at @nogginboss for the epic surprise at Olympic prep camp!" the post was captioned.

Simone Biles wants to be a guide and mentor for her team members

Following her qualification for the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles became the oldest female American gymnast since 1952 to qualify for the Olympics at 27 years of age. She is one of only four female American gymnasts to qualify for three Olympic events.

Biles wants to channelize her experience in mentoring her teammates at the French event and ease their burden. The Ohio native said (via Inc):

"I know exactly how they are feeling. If I can be a mentor and a guide, that's what I am going to do to kind of lighten the load."

While guiding her compatriots, Biles looks poised to redeem herself from the Tokyo Olympics disappointment, where she had to withdraw from multiple events due to experiencing 'twisties' - a kind of mental block encountered by gymnasts during their routines.
