Sydney Mclaughlin-Levrone posted photos from her birthday trip with her husband, Andre Levrone, in Greece. The 400m hurdles world record holder lowered her record time for the sixth time at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400m relay team that took Olympic victory.
While the Olympics were underway, the American turned 25 on August 7. Unable to celebrate amid the high-intensity event, she took a trip to Europe after the Olympic closing ceremony. She was accompanied by her husband, former NFL player Andre Levrone, in Greece and looks to have spent her days in picturesque settings. She shared a series of photos from her holiday on her Instagram account.
In the first slide, she can be seen posing in a blue dress, followed by looking over the sunset in the second. In another, she posted a picture of a breakfast platter with a number of food items.
The series of photos also included McLaughlin-Levrone posing for a selfie and in a swimsuit by the pool. The American also engaged in a baking session with her husband. Other pictures include a cliff, and a horse jumping around.
McLaughlin-Levrone's post included a photo of her husband with a sunset in the background, a photo of a restuarant menu, a picture of the sea and sea-side houses, and a mirror selfie in which she is wearing white and beige, among others.
McLaughlin-Levrone competed in her third Olympic edition in Paris after winning the Olympic gold in 2020 Tokyo. She not only defended her 400m hurdles title at the 2024 Games but also ran a world record time of 50.37s, breaking her record for the sixth time.

Lowering the world record in front of a packed Stade de France stadium at the Paris Games 2024 was a moment to cherish for three-time Olympian Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. She said it was a "surreal" feeling for her:
"It hasn't really fully hit me yet. Blessed, honestly. And excited. It's a surreal moment. But now an amazing, amazing opportunity. And I'm grateful," she shared. (via Olympics.com)
She also shared her racing mindset and how she soared to victory at such a blistering speed.
"You never really know what's going on. It's really just running all the way through the line. I did get a quick glance at the clock, so I was like, 'Just get over this last hurdle and sprint through the line,'" she added. (via Olympics.com)
McLaughlin-Levrone is the first woman to break the 52s and 51s barriers in the 400m hurdles and break four world records in 13 months.
