In Pictures: Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone shares highlights from life after winning two gold medals at Paris Olympics 2024

400m hurdles world record holder and the current Olympic champion, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, provided a glimpse into her recent life happenings following her double gold medal victory at the Paris Olympics.

The 25-year-old American icon participated in the Paris Olympics to defend her 400m hurdles title, and she did so after winning the race in 50.37 seconds. In doing so, she also broke her own world record in the distance for the sixth time. In addition, McLaughlin-Levrone ran a sensational 47.70-second split in the second leg to ensure her team's 4x400m relay title defense on French soil.

Following the Paris Olympics, she has been invited to numerous shows and competitions as a guest to celebrate and discuss her Olympic success. Sharing a glimpse of her recent visit to some places, particularly in New York City and New Jersey, the sprinter dropped a carousel of pictures and videos on her Instagram handle. She began the dump with a picture in which she sported a light-colored long-sleeved dress.

In one of the videos, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone could be seen nailing a long-range reverse layup shot, while in another, the Olympian showcases her impressive juggling skills. One of the pictures features a bunch of kids' hands holding her gold medal from Paris. She further shared pictures with her friends, and in a video, the world champion was seen teaching juggling to the hosts of the Today Show.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone was overjoyed after winning gold medals, especially with her family being there for the first time to witness her Olympic glory. In an interview on the Today Show, the Dunellen native said it was a surreal feeling for her.

"I mean, it's a dream come true, all that hard work, and in those moments it was such a special time, and I mean 70,000 people in the stands, it was unforgettable so amazing. I think Rio I was so young, and then Tokyo there was no fans there, so being able to have my family in that moment afterwards, just being able to hug them and hold the flag, it was just unreal" she said.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone wrapped up her 2024 season at the recent Diamond League finals in Brussels, where two invitational races were specifically organized for her.
