Reigning Olympic champion Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband Hunter Woodhall, the current Paralympic champion took some time off the track and field and took a trip to Salt Lake City. The couple recently shared captivating pictures from their off-track shenanigans.
Tara Davis-Woodhall captured the first Olympic medal of her career at the recently concluded Paris Olympics, where she defeated Germany's defending champion Malaika Mihambo with a giant leap of 7.10 m in her fourth attempt to claim the gold. After her victory, Tara ran towards her husband, Hunter Woodhall, at the Stade de France to cheer her on.
Following the conclusion of the Olympics, it was Hunter's turn to shine in the Paralympics, and he delivered by winning a gold in the 400m T62 and a bronze in the mixed 4x100m universal relay. The 25-year-old won the first Paralympic gold of his track-running career after besting Germany's Johannes Floors and Olivier Hendriks of the Netherlands in the 400m T62 finals. In addition, he also assisted the team USA in securing bronze in the mixed 4x100m universal relay event with a time of 47.32 seconds.
After they were done and dusted with their professional responsibilities, the couple took some time off their busy schedule and took a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. In a joint Instagram post, the duo twinned in matching outfits. Tara Davis-Woodhall donned a black leather jacket layered over a white shirt, and the longjumper paired it with black pants and black shoes.
Hunter sported a black puffer jacket, a white shirt, and black pants and sneakers. Both completed their looks with black shades.

Hunter Woodhall expresses gratitude to his wife Tara Davis-Woodhall after becoming the Paralympic champion
After Hunter Woodhall upgraded his Rio and Tokyo Paralympic bronze to gold in Paris, the Georgia native shared a dedicated gratitude post for his partner Tara Davis-Woodhall on his Instagram handle.
"To my wife. I couldn’t do this alone. You built me up and kept me accountable. You believed in me, and helped me grow. You taught me how to enjoy the moment. You showed me how to be a competitor. We did it," he wrote in the caption.
In the reply to the post, Tara wrote:
"I love you boobear"
Apart from being an Olympic champion, Davis-Woodhall was also appointed the assistant coach for Kansas State University's track & field team.
