After their combined success, the 25-year-old Texas-born exuded pride in having a partner with the same sporting passion.

"To have a partner in the same sport, it means everything. You understand what they’re going through and they understand what you’re going through, so the rough days at practice, we’re trying to both help each other," Davis-Woodhall said (via Paralympic.org).

Hunter chimed in, saying:

"We keep each other accountable. Some days when you don’t want to get up and do that workout or get in the gym, the other one can be that motivator. It makes those hard days go a lot easier."

The American duo also expressed excitement over the Games coming back home in Los Angeles.
