Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband, Hunter Woodhall, recently attended the charity concert, Thundergong and have shared a sneak peek of their time there. The couple recently moved to Kansas City from Arkansas for the long-jump athlete to commence her new role as an assistant coach.
Davis-Woodall impressed at the Paris Olympics by clinching the first Olympic gold medal of her career in the long-jump event. She jumped a distance of 7.01m and beat the defending champion Malaika Mihambo, who clinched silver.
Along with this, her husband, Hunter Woodhall, also won the first Olympic gold medal of his career. He clocked a time of 46.36s to stand atop the podium in the T62 400m race. Following these accomplishments, the couple celebrated the wins together and enjoyed their off-season.
The couple, who recently shifted to Kansas City, visited the 8th annual Thundergong charity concert. This is held for raising money for the Steps of Faith Foundation, whose role is to help the uninsured and underinsured. Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall shared a bunch of photos and videos from the concert, where the former was seen donning a white corset top with blue jeans and a black leather jacket.
In the videos, the couple were seen interesting with the crowd while they were on the stage and also were seen celebrating their gold medals with the rapper, Flavor Flav. He posed with the athletes by wearing their gold medals around his neck, and the post's caption read:

Tara Davis-Woodhall opened up about taking a new role at Kansas State University
Tara Davis-Woodhall recently appeared on The Game on 1350 KMAN podcast on August 22, 2024, and spoke about her role as an assistant coach at the Kansas State University's track and field team. She said that it was inspiring for her to take up this position. The American was offered the role amidst the Paris Olympics by the Director of Track and Field at K-State, Travis Geopfert, on August 2.
"I'm blessed to be able to, you know, be in these moments, you know, win Olympic gold. That's really crazy. But I think it's even, you know, more inspiring for myself to become a K-State coach; I feel like I have a lot of knowledge and experience," Tara Davis-Woodhall said. [6:43 Onwards]
The 25-year-old has started her training for the 2025 season and recently shared a strong message announcing that a new Tara has emerged and she is ready for war.
