Tara Davis-Woodhall's husband Hunter Woodhall has touched down in Paris ahead of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Paralympics. Woodhall will be featuring in multiple track events at the Paris Paralympics.
Hunter gained attention during the Paris Olympics for supporting his wife and long jumper Tara Davis-Woodhall at Stade de France. The 25-year-old will now be back at the same venue, but as a competitor as he eyes his first Olympic gold medal at the Paralympic Games.
Hunter Woodhall has finally arrived in Paris ahead of the 2024 Paris Paralympics opening ceremony scheduled to take place at the Avenue des Champs-Élysées on Wednesday, August 28. The Instagram handle of Team USA shared a post on Hunter's first day after touching down in Paris. Watch the photos and videos of the USA Paralympic star here.
In the videos, Hunter was captured trying out the USA opening and closing ceremony outfits for the 2024 Paralympic Games. The athletes will be seen wearing a navy wool blazer with red and white details, a striped shirt, a navy knit tie, suede shoes, and light-colored denim jeans for the opening ceremony.
Meanwhile, the athletes will be donning a sporty moto-style jacket that has USA patches, and a striped polo shirt paired with white jeans for the closing ceremony of the Paris Paralympics, slated to be held at the Stade de France on September 8.
A total of 225 athletes, comprising 5 guides, will represent the USA at this edition’s Paralympic Games. Out of the 220 athletes, 110 are male and 110 are female competitors.

Tara Davis-Woodhall has reacted to her husband Hunter Woodhall’s touchdown in Paris for the 2024 Summer Paralympics. She responded to the post by Team USA, stating:
“I am quite literally obsessed with you [Hunter Woodhall]”
Tara further mentioned:
“Yall are some lucky people.”
She concluded by adding a few smiling face with heart-eyes emojis in another comment.

The couple, whose love story began when they met at a high school track meet, exchanged vows on October 16, 2022.
Hunter Woodhall, who has previously earned a silver and two bronze medals at the Paralympics, will be in action in the 100m T64 and 400m T62 events at the Paris Paralympics. Tara Davis-Woodhall is also expected to make an appearance at the Stade de France to cheer on her husband.
