Reigning Olympic champion Tara Davis-Woodhall is making the most of her 2025. The long jumper, alongside her husband Hunter Woodhall, has spent her January traveling to various places where the couple speak about their experiences and share their stories. Recently, the American gave fans glimpses of her week traveling with her husband.
Davis-Woodhall and Woodhall first met in 2017, when they were both still in high school. The duo started dating when they were in college, balancing a long-distance relationship with their commitments to their respective sports. In 2022, the couple tied the knot. Over the years, the Woodhalls have amassed a large following on social media, and often give their fans glimpses of their everyday life together.
On January 27, Tara Davis-Woodhall took to Instagram to share photos from the couple's recent travels, writing on Instagram,
“Lil dump of the last week. Our side quest of speaking has been so much fun, so grateful for the places we get go! Inspires me to be the best version of myself. Sharing our story, our way NY-CT-NJ-MHK.”

Throughout 2025, Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall have traveled to multiple places to speak about their story, including Princeton University, and the Choate Rosemary Hall private school.
Taking to their shared Instagram account, the Woodhalls gave fans an inside look into their hectic travel schedule, writing,
“4 states in 5 days learning something new. We've always wanted to speak, share our stories that hopefully motivate and inspire others. Thanks for believing in us, and thinking we have important things to share.”
Both Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall come into 2025 on the back of an incredible season in 2024. Davis-Woodhall’s year saw her go undefeated the entire season to win the Paris Olympics, as well as the Glasgow World Indoor Championships, the USATF New York City Grand Prix, and the Rome Diamond League.
Meanwhile, Woodhall's 2024 saw him compete at his third consecutive Paralympics. While in Paris, the American won a gold in the 400m men's T-62 event, while claiming a bronze in the mixed 4x100m relay. With this, his total Paralympic medal tally goes up to five.
After the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, the Woodhalls moved to Kansas City to continue training with their long-time coach, Travis Geopfert. The couple are yet to begin their 2025 season.
