In Pictures: Tia Jones cheers on her fiance and Chiefs rookie Xavier Worthy as they dominate 49ers in Super Bowl rematch

American track athlete Tia Jones was seen supporting her fiance, Xavier Worth, during his NFL game on Sunday (Oct 20). This comes a few months after Jones' disappointing performance at the US Track and Field trials that cost her a place on the US Olympic team.

Worthy, who plays as a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently featured in the side's clash against the San Francisco 49ers in a Super Bowl rematch. The match ended with a convincing 28-18 victory for the Chiefs, which helped the side to continue their winning streak this season.

Tia Jones was present in this match to support her fiance's side. The 24-year-old shared a few glimpses from her time at the Levi's Stadium on her Instagram handle. In the pictures, Jones can be seen wearing an oversized t-shirt and maroon lowers and spending some time with Worthy at the pitch side.

Jones ended her 2024 track season after the track and field trials and hasn't competed since then. She produced some good performances across the season and also won the 60m hurdles event at the US National Championships. The 24-year-old also won the 60m hurdles event at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix and registered a top-three finish at the Millrose Games.

Tia Jones and Xavier Worthy announced their engagement recently this year in July. This came just two months after Worthy was picked by the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2024 NFL draft in April.

The couple shared a video on their joint Instagram account named, 'Xavierandtiaa' to share this decision with their fans. In the video, the couple walks together on a beach holding hands before Worthy finally kneels on his knee to propose Jones with a ring.

Jones and Worthy have been actively seen together on social media handles since their engagement. The couple also bought a new house together in July. Jones announced this news on her social media handle stating:

"Super blessed to be able to experience buying a home with the person you love!! Nothing more important than family and building a foundation!"

Both Jones and Worthy are one of the fastest athletes in their respective sports. While Jones is a junior world record holder in the 100m hurdles event, Worthy also holds the record for covering 40 yards in the fastest time (4.21 seconds).
