The American athlete's 2024 did not pan out as expected, as she did not compete at the Paris Olympics, as she had planned to, citing an unspecified injury. She started her year by competing at the USATF Indoor Championships, where she tied for the world record with Devynee Charlton in the 60m hurdles heat by clocking a time of 7.67s.
Following this, she squared off in the finals and attained a powerful victory by recording 7.68s but luck wasn't on her side as she crashed into the crash pads and fell, which led to an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament. After this incident, she returned to track in May, gearing up to compete in the Paris Olympics, but she withdrew from the competition after competing in the prelims of the event.
