The legendary American rapper, Snoop Dogg is all set to grace the 2024 edition of the Olympics in Paris. He will be one of the prominent commentators for NBC Universal and will also be a special correspondent for Team USA.
Besides being one of the most sought-after rappers in the world, Dogg also shares an avid interest in the world of sports and has been seen in various sporting events such as UFC tournaments and football matches. Besides, the 52-year-old also had a commentary stint during the dressing event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
In a press release, the American rapper detailed his involvement in the Paris Olympics in his own unique way. He stated:
"We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix. It’s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned, and keep it locked. Recently, the official Instagram handle of Team USA shared a couple of pictures in which Dogg was seen donning the official uniform of Team USA for the Paris Olympics. The attire includes tracks with red and white shades and a Nike hoody with the official emblem of Team USA.
"It’s official like a referee with a whistle," the caption read.

The US Olympic Track and Field Trials were held last month in Eugene to determine the US teams for various events of the Paris Olympics. Numerous talented athletes were present at the event to secure their spots for the quadrennial event.
There was also a special guest present on the third day of the trials, and it was none other than the evergreen Snoop Dogg.
The 52-year-old American rapper graced the track and also ran an exhibition 200m race. Apart from him, the 2007 World Championships gold medalist, Wallace Spearmon, and the former Olympian, Ato Boldon, also took part in the exhibition race. Dogg showed exceptional fitness during his run, as he touched the finishing line in just 34.44 seconds.
