The 2024 ISTAF Berlin is all set to take center stage on September 1 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany. Many prominent track and field athletes are slated to appear in the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meeting.
The ISTAF Berlin was first held in July 1921 at the Deutsches Stadion, but later moved to Olympiastadion from 1937. Since then, the meeting has seen numerous world records being established. The 2024 edition is anticipated to have about 35,000 spectators.

Athletes to watch out for at the 2024 ISTAF Berlin
In the men’s 100m event, Canadian sprinters Aaron Brown and Jerome Blake will be up against South Africa’s Akani Simbine. At the Paris Olympics, all the aforementioned sprinters took home medals in the men’s 4x100m relay event, with Canada and South Africa winning the gold and silver respectively.
The reigning Olympic gold medalist Grant Holloway will be one of the main attractions in the men’s 110m hurdles at the ISTAF Berlin. In the women’s 600m, the 2023 World champion and Olympic bronze medalist Mary Moraa will be the athlete to watch out for.
Meanwhile, in the pole vault, two-time Olympic medalist Sam Kendricks will be one of the leading contenders for the top spot at the Continental Tour silver event. Additionally, Leo Neugebauer, the Olympic silver medalist, will delight the local fans with his presence as he participates in the ISTAF triathlon event.
