Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce showcased Christmas celebrations with her children and revealed that she is getting back to work. The athlete concluded her 2024 season after competing at the Paris Olympics.

The 2024 track season did not pan out as expected for the Jamaican athlete, as she withdrew from events, citing an injury. However, her off-season went on a positive note, according to all the updates she shared on social media. She donned new hairstyles, shared pictures in stunning outfits, collaborated with brands, executed programs for her foundation, and did much more during her downtime.

One instance among this was her Christmas celebrations, and she recently shared a carousel of pictures on her Instagram on January 9, showcasing how her children celebrated the holiday in New York City. From fun rides to posing in front of the scenic beauty of the city, she showcased everything and also added a note in the caption stating her child's wish and also announcing her return to work.

"This Christmas my baby wanted to go NYC to see snow lol. Well it didn’t exactly work out that way so we did a lot of other things. It was just the refresher I needed but now it’s back to work!! 😊" wrote Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

Ahead of the off-season, the Jamaican athlete competed in the Paris Olympics. She booked her spot in the 2024 Summer Games by earning a third-place finish in the 100m dash at the Olympic trials. However, she withdrew from the semifinal of the event on August 3 and was supposed to run in the 4x100m relay but did not run in that too.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce made her feelings known about her withdrawal from the Paris Olympics by sharing her statement on social media. She expressed disappointment over her decision and stated that it was difficult for her and also acknowledged the feelings of her supporters. Along with this, she also extended her gratitude toward her fans who have supported her throughout.

"It is difficult for me to find the words to describe the depth of my disappointment. I know that my supporters share and shoulder this disappointment with me. I am truly Blessed to have had the steadfast support of my fans since my Olympic debut in 2008. The support of my fans, my country, and the larger community has rooted me in immense gratitude that has sustained me throughout my career," Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce wrote.

She added:

"With every step and win, you all have been there for me. My Faith has always affirmed my trust in my journey. Thank you for continuing to be with me today and every day."

The Paris Olympics was supposedly the last Olympic appearance of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. She is yet to open up about her plans for the upcoming track season.
