Simone Biles recently bid farewell to her signature move, the Yurchenko double pike, which she performed at multiple prestigious international tournaments, including the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Yurchenko double pike is given a difficulty score of 6.4 by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).
Biles executed the Yurchenko double pike successfully, propelling her to win gold medals in the women's individual all-around and vault finals at the Paris Olympics. She scored 59.131 and 15.300 points in both finals, adding two more gold medals to her total after helping the women's team win gold in Paris.
Recently, Biles threw a funeral for the move — Yurchenko double pike, mentioning "Rest in Peace" in the post, shared on her Instagram handle. White flowers were surrounding the equipment, which indicated that she may no longer be performing that vault again, stating:
“Rest in peace yurchenko double pike 🫶🏾”
Fans immediately came up with various kinds of responses. One fan said that her move was completely justified because she executed the vault exceptionally well.

While a fan suggested that Biles may be retiring soon as she bid a farewell to the Yurchenko double pike, adding:

Another fan said Simone Biles "owns the vault." The user even suggested that the vault event should be renamed "The Biles" in her honor.
