Jade Carey shares her thoughts about her collegiate career in the 2025 season
Jade Carey opened up about her plans for the 2025 gymnastics season. In an interview, Carey expressed her excitement about competing in the Oregon Beavers' team for the 2025 season and also informed that she won't compete in the elite circuit for the upcoming season.
Additionally, she also mentioned that she is quite happy to be one of the seniors in the Oregon State gymnastics roster. She said (via Olympics.com):
"I’m really excited for this season in college. I think probably in the beginning, I’ll take it a little bit slow so I have a little bit of downtime. But you never know with me. I’m not doing elite this year, so I just have them to focus on and that’s it. I’m really excited to jump in with them and be a leader and help get them to where we want to go."
Jade Carey had some impressive performances in the elite circuit last year. She was part of the US Women's gymnastics side that won the team gold medal. Additionally, she also won the vaults event in the US team trials last year and bagged gold medals in the all-around and vaults in the American Classic.
