Jade Carey shares glimpses of her uneven bars routine weeks after returning to Oregon State for her final year

American gymnast Jade Carey was recently spotted practicing on uneven bars as she prepares for her upcoming NCAA season. This comes just a few weeks after Carey's 2024 Gold Over America Tour campaign concluded.

Carey was a pivotal part of the show with several other Paris Olympic teammates like Simone Biles, Hezly Rivera, and Jordan Chiles also taking part in the event. Following the conclusion of the tour, Carey is now back practicing for her collegiate side, Oregon State Beavers, and also recently performed at an exhibition event.

A few days after this, the 24-year-old shared glimpses of her uneven bars session with her trainer on Instagram. In the post, Carey was seen donning a black leotard and executing a flawless bars routine.

Jade Carey has been with the Oregon State Beavers since 2022 and is currently in her senior year. She has won numerous laurels for her side at the NCAA level, including four silvers and one bronze title. Carey also won the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year title two times in 2022 and 2023.

Jade Carey shared her thoughts on her return to Oregon State for the 2025 season

Jade Carey opened up about her return to Oregon State University for the upcoming 2025 season. This came just a few months after her 2024 Paris Olympics campaign where she won the gold medal in the team event and bagged an individual bronze medal in the vault apparatus.

During a visit to Oregon State after this successful campaign, Carey expressed her excitement to come back for her final year. She also shared some kind words for OSU and termed it as her home and pillar of strength. She said (via OregonLive.com):

"I’m thrilled to announce that I’m committed to the 2025 season. I look forward to continuing to compete, pushing my limits and striving for excellence with the best team by my side. OSU has been more than just a university. It’s been my home, my family and my source of strength."

Jade Carey's Oregon State is set to make its first appearance in 2025 on January 4 when they face the California Golden Bears.
