Jamaican Athletics Team for Paris Olympics 2024 ft. Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce

The JAA announced the Jamaican Athletics Team on Monday, July 08, 2024, for the Paris Olympics. Elite athletes, including Shericka Jackson, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Ackeem Blake, and Junelle Bromfield will represent the Jamaican squad at the world's greatest sporting event.

Jackson and Fraser-Pyce will compete to defend their 4x100m relay title along with Tia Clayton and Shashalee Forbes. While Jackson will be seen vying for the glorious feat in the 100m and 200m, Fraser Pryce will be seen competing in only one individual event the 100m in her last Olympics appearance.

After securing a bronze medal in the 4x400m relay event at the Tokyo Olympics, Bromfield will compete in the individual 400m event. She will be joined by Stacey Ann Williams and Nickisha Pryce.

Kishane Thompson earned a spot in the Jamaican Athletics Team for Paris Olympics after boasting a world-leading time

Kishane Thompson opened his Olympic season at the Jamaican Trials, clocking a spectacular world lead of 9.77 seconds in the 100m event. He will lock horns with star sprinters, including Ackeem Blake, Oblique Seville, Noah Lyles, and Kenny Bednarek.
