Jordan Chiles is gearing up for the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in her Beyonce-inspired leotards. She will wear the leotard, which features 400 crystals, on Saturday at the U.S Championships.

Chiles, who won the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics, was sensational at the U.S. Core Hydration Classic 2024. She finished third in the all-around competition with a score of 55.450.

Gymnastics isn't Chiles' sole interest. The 2022 world champion is a fashion enthusiast and a Beyonce admirer. While her dogs are named Chanel and Versace, Beyonce’s costumes are becoming an inspiration for Chiles' gymnastics leotards. She got one designed based on the singer and is in awe of it.

“It just gives legit icon, legend, that girl vibe,” Chiles told the Washington Post in a recent interview.

Chiles expressed that she felt she was holding up 850 pounds of jewels when she tried on the leotard for the first time. However, after some modifications, she felt powerful, strong, and beautiful when she tried it again.

“I put it on, and I was like,” Chiles says with her jaw dropped. “There’s no way. My imagination came to life.”

The world champion further added:

"At the end of the day, I feel beautiful in it,” Chiles said. “I feel strong, powerful. And it goes. My [floor] routine is Beyoncé. What more can I give you? I’m Jordan Chiles, and there’s only one me. This leo definitely says that, I can tell you that, because who would have thought?”

What is Jordan Chiles’ favorite Beyonce song?

Jordan Chiles has been a long-time admirer of Beyonce's music. She has listened to most of her songs, and her favorite is 'Pretty Hurts'.

In an interview with the Washington Post, the 23-year-old gymnast first named ‘XO’ as her favorite but stuck to the former, even singing a bit of the lyrics. Chiles isn't a fan of Beyonce just for her music. She also relates to the pop star’s struggle.

“She’s been body-shamed. She’s been racially attacked. She’s done all these things that as an athlete you go through,” Chiles told the Washington Post.

Jordan Chiles did participate in podium training on Thursday at the U.S Gymnastics Championships. She will be eying one of the top 3 spots once again in the all-around competition to qualify for the U.S Olympic Trials, which are scheduled in the latter part of June. Chiles will be one of the frontrunners for the five-member USA team for the Paris Olympics 2024.
