Jordan Chiles in awe of Simone Biles as she spots the gymnastics bestie on a billboard in New York

Jordan Chiles spotted her gymnastic compatriot Simone Biles on the haircare brand, K18's digital billboard at a Sephora store. Chiles was in New York for the New York Fashion Week amid her Olympic bronze medal saga.

After extending her Olympic medal tally to 11, Biles landed a haircare brand partnership with K18. The newly-appointed brand ambassador was the face of K18's Inside-Out campaign, displayed in Sephora stores until September 4, 2024. The Olympian's personal hair pro Jasmine “Jazz” Johnson styled her as a fellow brand ambassador of K18.

Jordan Chiles landed in NYC for the New York Fashion Week and stopped by a Sephora store digital billboard featuring Biles. The 11-time Olympic medalist posed with a product in a green bodycon dress. The words 'feel what's possible' could be seen under her picture, as evident in Chiles' Instagram story, captioned:

"I see you @simonebiles"

Chiles competed in the floor finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she initially earned fifth place with 13.666. Following her team's appeal, her score increased by 0.10 and earned her the bronze. However, the Romanian Gymnastics Federation rallied to return the medal to Ana Barbosu since Team USA's appeal crossed the 1-minute deadline.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled in favor of Barbosu and ordered the US gymnast to return the medal. During those hard times, Biles was a pillar of strength to her teammate, who was momentarily on a break from social media.

“We’ve been FaceTiming, texting, just being girls. I did talk to her on one of the days, and I was like, ‘You know what, Jordan, you have to feel all these feels. Don’t let these emotions stop you. This will be the healthiest way to get all of this out,' " said the 26-year-old to People.

She added:

"We want that justice for Jordan and why we’re going to keep supporting her and uplifting her."

Since moving to the World Champions Center in 2019, Jordan Chiles formed a close bond with Simone Biles. After the Paris Olympics success, the 41-time World and Olympic medalist cried in front of her younger counterpart.

Chiles recalled the heartwarming moment and appreciated her 'big sister' for contributing significantly to her life.

"I think just knowing and understanding that the bond that we brought together, even throughout the last two years, everything that's been happening. I think the biggest thing was we're by each other's side the whole time. I appreciate everything she's done for me," she said. (via Today Show)

She added:

"Simone's like a big sister to me."

The US teammates will next share the stage on the Gold Over America tour, scheduled to begin on September 16 in Oceanside, California.
