Donning a green-and-black outfit, Terry posed with a bouquet on her special day, as seen in her Instagram post. In her caption, she expressed pride in the woman she's becoming besides thanking everyone for their support.
"Every year on my birthday, people are quick to ask, “How does it feel?” Normally, I can’t answer because it’s only been a few hours, but this year, I had a response," Terry said.
"26 feels like a new milestone. There are so many things in store that were planted in year 25, and I can’t wait to share and bring them to life this year. 26 is all about growth and elevating myself in many areas. I’m so proud of the woman I’m becoming, and I’m thankful to everyone who played a role in shaping the woman you see here."

Twanisha Terry, who was part of the gold-winning 4x100m relay team at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships, participated in the same at the 2024 Olympic Games. With the reigning 100m World champion Sha'Carri Richardson, Melissa Jefferson, and the reigning 200m Olympic champion Gabby Thomas, Terry soared to victory in 41.78s in Paris.

Twanisha Terry added her first Olympic gold medal to her repertoire, followed by getting inducted into the 2025 Bob Hayes Hall of Fame. On Thursday, the two-time World gold medalist celebrated her birthday as fellow athletes and fans bestowed heartfelt wishes on her.
She recently posted a series of photos from her track training, expressing gratitude for the wishes she received on her special day.
"Birthday deposit. Thank you all for the birthday wishes so far. 🫶🏾 I’m responding slowly, but surely. I’m going to miss a couple, but trust me I appreciate all the love," she wrote.
Terry trains with fellow Olympians, Sha'Carri Richardson and Melissa Jefferson under Denis Mitchell in Florida. All three training mates qualified for the Olympics in the 100m.
