Jordan Chiles' mother, Gina, recently expressed her admiration for her daughter after the Olympian recorded a stunning perfect 10 on the uneven bars for UCLA in the 2025 NCAA season.

Chiles registered the score during the faceoff against Maryland at the 2025 Big Ten Conference for Women's Gymnastics on January 18, 2025, at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

Her performance earned the first perfect score in the 2025 Big Ten Conference. It also listed UCLA's first perfect score at the Big Ten Conference. Chiles returned to collegiate gymnastics after opting out to focus on her Olympic training. Following the Paris Games, she navigated the country alongside Simone Biles for the Gold Over America Tour.

Following the above pursuits and a brief break over the holiday season, she returned to the collegiate circuit, acing her routines in no time. Taking pride in her daughter's gymnastics prowess, Chiles' mother shared a video of the routine on her Instagram story and wrote:

"So proud of you chick. Just a couple weeks in and you are finding your groove."

Jordan Chiles competed in floor routine for the UCLA Bruins in their second meet at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad, performing a Prince-themed inspired routine. The routine helped earn her 9.975 points before going viral.

Reflecting on the performance, Chiles stated that the routine was influenced by the decision to bring back art in gymnastics.

"Honestly, when we started working on this, I thought, 'If I'm coming back, I want to come back with a banger,'" Chiles said. "I don't want to come back and be like, 'Oh hey guys, I am back.' No, I want to come back with something that people are going to enjoy. Artistic gymnastics is very known for just the gymnastics part, and I wanted to be able to bring the art back into the sport, and so I felt like Prince was the best thing to do for that."
